Michigan's Postal
History Society
The
purpose of the Peninsular State
Philatelic Society is to aid in
spreading philatelic knowledge, to
promote fraternal feeling and
personal contacts and to provide a
common basis for the advancement of
philately among collectors in the
state of Michigan. Founded in 1938,
we are APS Chapter # 22015 & APS
Affiliate # AF-0251

While
PSPS members collect everything
philatelic imaginable, most have a
special interest in Michigan postal
history. Even though our numbers are
small, about 150, we have members from
both coasts and everywhere in between.
Come join us!

Membership
in the PSPS is open to
individuals anywhere and to
stamp clubs in Michigan as
Member Chapters. The only
regular meetings are the Annual
Meeting which takes place at the
Plymouth Show each April and an
informal meeting which usually
takes place at the Ann Arbor
Stamp Show in November.
The primary benefit to members
is the quarterly publication,
The Peninsular Philatelist.
The "
PP," as we call it,
contains articles on Michigan
postal history, news of upcoming
local shows and general
information of interest to
collectors in Michigan.
